I inherited some old fashioned brooches and a ring from my grandmother and great aunts. They were an old fashioned design that I wasn't keen on and decided to contact a jeweller to see if they could help me make the stones into something I could wear. I found Gavin on google and he had already come up with some ideas before we met from photos of the pieces when we spoke on the phone.
Gavin was full of inspirational ideas and designs and really listened patiently to what I liked/wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. His manner is polite, professional and calm and he is just incredibly helpful.
He ended up making 4 beautiful pieces that are absolutely stunning. A pink sapphire and diamond ring with matching pendant and earrings. Also a ruby and diamond pendant for my daughter.
I am so delighted to have turned my family heirlooms into beautiful pieces that I wear every day-exactly what I wanted. I have had so many compliments about all of them and have recommended Gavin to multiple friends already.
Do not hesitate to speak to/meet Gavin to discuss your requirements with him. You will not be disappointed.

I contacted Gavin after having looked for a long time for a jeweller to create my engagement ring that I felt would be right to build such a specific design. From the start he was so chilled and accommodating - he made suggestions and adjustments so the ring would suit me and my lifestyle and kept me updated with photos and videos along the way. Despite the fact I knew what I wanted from the start, even when I got it, I was gobsmacked. Better than anything we could have asked for or just gone to a shop and bought. My girlfriend and I were looking for a ring design that was a little bit different to what other jewellers and shops in the area were offering. We found Gavin's website on Google, and immediately loved the unique style of the rings that he was displaying. Ever since first contact, Gavin has been more than we could have ever asked for. He has liaised with us throughout the whole process, taking into account our budget and timescale, and has managed to create a stunningly beautiful ring in a very short timescale - he even posted it to my door when I was unable to travel. I had no idea how to find a jeweller and I struck gold on Google choosing Gavin rather than all the High Street Jewllers. His knowledge and advice was outstanding. I asked to watch when he resized my engagement ring and seeing his attention to detail, I trusted him completely to do the intricate repair work on my antique engagement ring and make my bespoke wedding ring.
