Gavin is amazing - he made my wedding ring and I also recently had him remodel my engagement ring (that I had bought from another jeweller). The quality and craftsmanship of his rings is incredible. In my opinion, there are very few other jewellers in the jewellery quarter who make rings as well as he does (and I have been in almost every store). He's also a dream to work with, so down-to-earth, easy to talk to and no 'sales-speak'. I'm fairly well-educated when it comes to diamonds and I found all the information he gave me to be completely true and accurate whereas elsewhere I was usually greeted by sales associates who were either clueless or not particularly forthcoming when it came to certain pieces of important information. If you are looking for a bespoke piece of jewellery then I 100% recommend meeting with Gavin. He's so talented at what he does and your future wife will definitely thank you for buying her engagement ring from him - trust me!! :)

I contacted Gavin earlier this year to create an engagement ring after failing to find anything in high street stores. (Everything looks very similar). Having never gone through this process before I didn't really know where to start or even if my budget would allow a ring to be custom made but Gavin assured me that he would work to my budget. Initially, I gave him an idea that I thought my girlfriend would like. At the time I was very busy at work so the majority of the contact was done via email and over the phone as I couldn't get time off which was convenient for me. Gavin was very discreet making sure he only called when he knew my girlfriend wasn't around. I did visit the workshop to make some of the style choices where it was important to see details up close.
Through every step of the process, Gavin kept me well informed. I trusted his suggestions and the final outcome was beyond what I imagined and the level of detail was incredible. Needless to say my fiance loves it, extra points for me because she can tell people I had it made for her.
I would highly recommend Gavin to anyone thinking of popping the question. Now when I see rings in high street jewelers of a similar value, that I was previously considering, they just don't compare!

At Christmas time last year my aunt gave me an old Art Deco styled ring that had belonged to my grandmother. My grandmother had had the ring made from jewelry she had inherited herself from relatives, so this ring had great sentimental value. Having just got engaged, my aunt hoped that I would be able to use the diamonds in this ring as part of my wedding band. I contacted Gavin after doing much research online and then met with him to discuss recreating and remodeling. Gavin was full of ideas and made great efforts to understand my own personal preferences by listening carefully throughout our discussions. After meeting with him I was confident that he would create a ring that I would be proud to wear. Throughout the process Gavin kept in touch and updated me regularly, he was very helpful and professional. I now have a ring that is beautiful and extremely meaningful, I can't wait to wear it. I happened to come across Gavin's website via a google search and was very impressed with his reviews. I contacted Gavin and asked him if he could re-model my engagement ring and shaped wedding band as I was unhappy with the look and feel of the rings. All I can say is that Gavin did a fantastic job from start to finish, I was very nervous as you never quite know what you're getting but in Gavin's case he kept me informed every step of the way and really put me at ease. His ideas were fantastic and the resulting design was exactly what I wanted, I couldn't have been more pleased. I contacted Gavin to design and make engagement ring, the service and quality of work was fantastic. He was very helpful, kept me up to date throughout the design with examples of similar work for ideas and 3D images of the design. I originally emailed multiple jewellers and Gavin was by far the most open and easy to contact for updates. The final ring was stunning, and my partner loves it. Afterwards (due to my own poor measurement/estimates) the ring needed resizing, and Gavin sorted this for me on the same day it arrived with him and had it posted back to me the next.
